چکیده

There have been few studies on the use of diets and strategies to reduce length postpartum anoestrus in dairy goats, especially tropical semi-arid regions. This review discusses factors influencing return ovarian activity goats. During period, goats are puerperal their reproductive tract is being prepared for a new conception. Anoestrus necessary tissue renewal uterus (uterine involution) associated with cyclic activity, influenced by such as suckling offspring, social interactions, body condition score (BCS) before after birth, intensity negative energy balance (NEB) stress from adverse climatic conditions. The period can be extended delays resumption females puerperium. duration directly affects productivity herd mainly nutrition, lactation heat stress. To minimize effects productivity, we recommend mating season plan kidding well program monitor during pregnancy so that animals will better BCS at parturition. balance, suggest nutritional supplementation levels above requirements maintenance.
 Highlights
 nutrition score.
 Heat intensify consequently increased anoestrus.
 Puerperal occurs result uterus.
 Suckling offspring interactions modified period.

Zygophyllum atriplicoides is one of the important species of Iran rangelands that has special importance owing to some properties like high distribution rate, coverage percentage, density, and plant biomass that make it possible to supply a part of forage needed by livestock during spring and winter as well as to avoid soil degradation against water and wind erosions. This research tries to stu...

This study compared the use of five different models to describe the growth from birth to 20 weeks of age of kids from both genders of nondescript goats. Fifty nine (59) nondescript kids were weighed weekly at the university of Maiduguri livestock teaching and research farm, Nigeria and the live weights were modeled. Biologically relevant variables were estimated for each kid from the Logistic,...

Infiltration is the process of water penetration from the ground surface into the soil and is an important process in the hydrological cycle by which surface runoff and groundwater recharge can be linked. Over the years, the importance of the infiltration process resulted in the development of several simplified analytical models for predicting infiltration. These infiltration models range from...
متن کاملGenetic resistance to natural coccidiosis infection in goats in a semi-arid region of India
Coccidiosis is one of the major causes of kid mortality in tropical regions and causes significant loss to farmers by affecting growth and feed efficiency in the growing kid. The strategy to control the coccidiosis is mainly through drug usage and is not efficacious at present. Therefore, an alternative strategy is required to control the disease in goats. Increasing genetic resistance to cocci...
